Currencies

Annulith — the premium currency

Annulith is the cash-shop currency. You buy it with real money or earn it slowly from in-game sources. 160 Annulith equals one wish; 1,600 buys a 10-pull bundle. Every other wish currency in NTE eventually traces back to Annulith.

Fabricated Dice — the standard wish ticket

Earned from story progression, daily commissions, achievements, and event quests. Used exclusively on the standard (non-featured) banner. Don’t hoard them — standard banner SSRs aren’t time-limited and the value-per-pull is lower.

Solid Dice — the featured wish ticket

Earned from limited events and converted from Annulith on featured banners. Used exclusively on featured (limited) character banners. This is the dice you actually care about — every Solid Dice you save is a step closer to landing the unit you want.

Tri-Keys — the Arc weapon ticket

A separate currency only used on the Arc (weapon) banner. Tri-Keys come in 10-pull bundles — you cannot single-pull on the Arc banner.

Banner Types

Standard Banner

Permanent, never rotates. Pulls use Fabricated Dice. SSR pool includes the launch roster of standard-pool characters. Useful for filling out gaps in your account but not where to spend your premium currency.

Featured (Limited) Banner

Time-limited, typically 2-3 weeks. One featured SSR character per banner. Pulls use Solid Dice. No 50/50 — every featured-banner SSR you land is the featured character. This is where most of your Annulith should go.

Arc (Weapon) Banner

Time-limited, weapon-focused. Pulls use Tri-Keys, only in 10-pull bundles. Soft pity triggers at pull 60. Featured Arc has a 25% chance per S-class drop, with a 20-pull guarantee fallback so you’re never more than 20 pulls away from the featured Arc.

Real-Money Math

Annulith bundles in the cash shop typically work out to roughly $0.015 per Annulith at the best price tier. Using that ratio:

GoalAnnulithApprox. USD
1 single pull160~$2.40
1 ten-pull1,600~$24
Median featured SSR (~75 pulls)12,000~$180
Worst-case featured SSR (hard pity, 90 pulls)14,400~$216
Featured C0 + signature Arc (median)~24,000~$360

Note that login bonuses, story rewards, and event quests typically front a player with roughly 40-60 free pulls in the launch window — meaningfully reducing the cash spend for a launch-day F2P pull plan.

How NTE Compares to Other Gacha Games

GameSoft pityHard pity50/50Worst-case for featured
NTE7090No~90 pulls
Genshin Impact7490Yes~180 pulls
Honkai: Star Rail7490Yes~180 pulls
Zenless Zone Zero7490Yes~180 pulls
Reverse: 19996070Yes (70/30)~140 pulls

The takeaway: NTE is roughly twice as F2P-friendly as the HoYo trio for landing a specific featured unit, because removing the 50/50 cuts the worst-case spend in half. The trade-off is that the wide soft-pity window means median spend is still high (~75 pulls) — there’s no “getting lucky early” the way Reverse: 1999’s tighter pity allows.

Pull Strategy

  • Save Annulith for featured banners you actually want. The standard banner is permanent; it will be there forever.
  • Don’t partial-commit. NTE’s wide soft pity means going halfway has poor expected value. Either commit to the worst-case 90-pull cost or don’t pull at all.
  • Use pity carry-over to plan multi-banner runs. Stuck at 40 pity on a banner you’ve cooled on? Save the 40 for the next featured banner.
  • Skip the Arc banner unless you’re a whale. Tri-Keys cost more per equivalent stat boost than character SSRs.
